K member
Anyone here ever put on a aftermarket K member? Was it hard to install or remove the old one? Did it improve your handling and what brand (I found some that were around $250) should I get? I plain on doing urathane bushings, shocks, F&R swaybars and strut tower brace also. Might as well say its a whole suspention rebuild.

i have done it twice, the 2 nd is yet on the road
made my 82 drive better and all that room under the engine alone is
well worth it to me , one is a d&d and the other was used with no name, just drop the complete unit on the ground and break it down and install the new parts and i think its best to install the frame and then hang all the new parts, makes it lighter to install , and at that point you will have the weight of the car to help with the coils

Tubed steel is usually tubed steel, no matter which brand. Usually not going to be much of a difference. One may powder coat and the other may just use plain paint. It is probably a fine K-member. (my 2cents)

oops.. I some how read "K-member brace". Didnt realize you meant whole K-member.[&:].... I think all of the after market ones are set up for coilovers.
