EXACTLY!!!!! but not always cutting out the same amount everytime, and would eventually catch up. i did have an exhaust leak show up tonight i could hear that darn fluttering noise but that shouldnt have affected it. my car was making a noise when i would barely pop the gas like the intake would suck before i got any response like a fsst vroom noise.

this is just a guess but your fuel pump could be going out, or you need a new fuel filter, and maybe your injectors need to be cleaned. sorry i don't help much but it sounds like your running lean, so i'd check your fuel pressure and stuff. compression test wouldn't hurt like HC said.

thanks, i just dont see why it would launch so good and all and cut out in the same place everytime. it seems it would be sporatic if it were the fuel pump. im thinking i may be lean also.

maybe just needs a good tune up? just an idea. still love the car, sounds pretty good as well. just curious, whats your mods if you don't mind listing them.

holley cam,dss forged pistons,holley heads, holley systemax 2 intake, ford motorsport rockers,trick flow hardened pushrods, upper and lower control arms, 3.73 eaton posi rear, adjustable drag shocks,stang box,battle boxes,chromeoly subframe connectors i self fabricated,super chips tuner,world class t-5 tranny, aluminum drive shaft..........and on

did you ever upgrade your fuel system or anything? i am pretty sure you did cause you know your stuff but you might just wnat to double check your fuel system, only thing i can think of right now.
