what would yall pay for a set of gt40 heads? i came across a guy who has a set, wondering what i should pay if i get them

If they're used and untouched I wouldn't pay more than 200. If they've been cleaned up with new springs, valve job, milled I'd pay anywhere from 350-450 (if they've been professionaly ported).

sweet, if there under 200 im buyin them(its all i have to work w.), and im gonna get a free valve job and clean up on whatever set of heads i use any way so word.

Well if they're in good shape (valve guides aren't trashed, or the heads aren't severely damaged) and he won't take 200 offer him a little bit more.

I just gave 300 for a set that was cleaned up and had trickflow dual valve springs already installed. That's shipped to the front door. So if you can pick up a set, i'd go for it cuz it's hard to find them cheap, especially if someone knows what they have. Good luck with them

wondering if anyone has n e thing else to say. guy wants 300 for them, says they have low milage and are in good shape, but i havent seen them.

I just sold a pair of ported and polished 93 cobra GT40's on here for 450 plus a bill for shipping so 550 total

these arent ported n polished tho. i guess ill stick w some good old e7 heads for now[:'(]

Keep shopping around. You can find good deals on them...especially on eBay occasionally.

its not that. its that i need either one new stock head, or two of them... the car is compleetly apart down to the heads, and is my DAILY driver, so im just lookin for a quick fix. but if i could score the gt40s then ill take em.
