Default Upholstery Q....

Has anyone had their front/back seats redone? I was thinking about buying the 50resto "back in black" kit and I was just wondering how much they you guys were charged to have the seats done. Thanks.

Dan

LoL Mine are actually in great condition and they arent the kind that are stripped (I think thats what your referring to as the "bedsheets" lol). No rips, tears, stains, etc. PERFECT. How much do you think they could sell for? if anything...

Why would the upholestry be hard to ship? Im just trying to get a local to do it but I want to know what kind of prices I should be expecting so I dont get ripped off if I decide to have someone do it. Im totally clueless with this lol

Im gonna get cloth. I dont like leather seats.... *** slides around too much lol Im just thinking bout it though because eventually I want to get CR1 seats in there so if its going to be alot to have them redone I will just wait and just start piecing together the interior.

I'd check with a local upholstry shop, each ones different, if your buying the covers and pulling them over it's fairly easy, you need a pair of hog ring pliers for to attach the bottom of the cover to the seat. A shop could replace the cushion and all for ya though, may be worth it in the front. But like I said a quote is the only real way to tell, i bet $200 a seat... just a guess.

$200 a seat ?!? I was thinkin more like $50 a seat max lol I can buy OEM black seats for a whole lot cheaper than that.

2kwik... were you talking about the color of the CR1's or the stockers I have now?
