Default Machining...

Anyone know of a reputable machine shop that specializes in machining/porting/polishing intakes and heads? Preferably in the northeast region. Thanks in advance.

Beats me, I'm just learning this process myself, I'm familiar with lathes, EDM, CNC, mills, and basic maching and tooling... but not on motors, more for manufacturing machines and injection molding tools. I'm learning though...lol I think this is something I'd leave to a pro...

i would try the shop i suggested then....it may be a little more pricey, but machineing is definetly something that has too be precise. IMO, its worth it, and i'm pretty sure they offer warranties with some stuff they do.

The three stone thing you are speaking of is a cylinder bore hone, extrude honing is totally diffrent. The 3 stone thing lets you see high spots in the cylinder walls and find washboarding.
