Not worth it IMO... your nephews can freeze for a day or two... not gonna kill em!

You are looking at about $75-100 per hour@ close to 6 hours plus parts mark up. If you get out under $500 I would literally have a small heart attack.
Do it yourself and you better have a Ford shop manual, a good socket set, a ton of patience (or some valum) and a parts store close by. It really isn't that difficult, but is a total pain. Stuff breaks, you are uncomfortable hanging upside down half in the car, its time consuming - its everything that makes wrenching suck, basically.
Oh, yeah. You hear little creaks and rattles now? Wait till you get that dash back together. Its lovely.[:@]

IMO it would be worth it to take the seats out and do it like that.

BUT it is a PITA trying to put the dash back in without the seats in there because you have to crouch down the whole time when your trying to get it lined up and your legs get very tired very quick... trust me! Im going through it right now lol

Will n Haynes manual do or will a need to get an actual shop manual? Also, how hard would this be for newbie like me. I've never really done that much work a car without someone else helping out. I did change out the headlights though to clear ones though.

If you can bag and tag screws/bolts you will be OK. Just very time consuming and frustrating....

Well, I have a shop manual and an office fax machine that is lonely. So, if you really want to tackle it I will fax you the section you need. Haynes sucks (and that's giving them due credit) but you don't NEED any manual. They just help cut the time and questions like " now, what the hell else do I need to remove?"
You have a long road ahead of you if headlights are the most complicated thing you've done.[8D]Really, though. Its not like rebuilding a rear end but it helps to have experience when so much surgery is involved. The shopsdon't charge that much for nothin!
