A buddy of mine just got his newly purchased 90 GT (302 mild cam and mild head work) back from getting dyno tuned from a very reputable mustang tuner. anyway to make a long story short. He's putting down 280 ponies at the wheels. What do you think it will run in the 1/4 with a good driver and slicks? stock suspension, stock gears. Thanks guys!

if hes got any suspension at all he should be hitting 12's like 12.8 12.9

thats with suspension, without any than expect like a 13.3-13.5

Low 13's with decent driver. Some sticky tires and a lil suspension work and 12's. Lot of suspension with some gears and dr's = mid 12's.

plz 280 rwhp is not 12s with stock gears.. get gears and mayb low 13s... 12s with stock gears 280rwhpyou will neeed slicks and a prayer...a guy on dfwstangs has a stock 289..except cam is aftermarket...and 456 gears 4 speed and does 13.2 on slicks..
