what's the difference about Flowmaster ?

i was wondering what's the difference on the flowmaster's between a 2 chamber and a 4 which would be better and also louder ?

go to flowmaster's website, they compare all of their mufflers with sound clips and also they have loudness ratings for inside the car as well as outside the car. so you can decide for yourself what you like.

the difference between a 2 and a 4 chamber is 2 chambers. Inside the muffler the are 2 sections in the 2 chamber which help muffle the sound. And I thought there were only 2 and 3 chamber flowmasters.

i just got 40 series 2 chambers on my almost stock stang and they sound great

I thought the same... I think he might be getting confused with 40 series or something......
