How to tell OEM from Replica? 1993 SVT CObra wheels?
Hey
I've got the opportunity to buy some Original 1993 Cobra wheels for.........
$150.00
It's a stupid good deal. The guy says he's in a bind and that the wheels came off his last Cobra.
What markings'/casting are on the OEM wheels? I want to be able ti identify them and make sure I'm not buyin replica's. Even if they are replica's, $150.00 is still a sweet deal... But if they truley are the real deal... Oh my

I paid $500 for 4 w/ decent rubber, on the inside of the rim it'll have the ford casting... also the R is red and the cobra is wrapped through it not behind or over it like some replicas, also many replica's have silver R's... good buy either way, also they were 17x9.

They will have a ford part #. What are you going to put theem on? If you are puting them on a fox they wont fit without some work, the offset is way wrong!

Not Cobra R... Just the 5.0 93 Cobra.
Aren't the Cobra R's 5 lug?
And, you said the offset woudl be wrong... Why? They came off of a Fox. Is the suspension that diff on the Cobra's?

Yes! The wheel you ate looking at should just have a smooth center cap. 93 the center cap covered the lugs. Hes thinking of 94 and newer!

They didnt make a real 4 lug cobra R! Only after market, and it will look like the 94 or newer wheel depending on which one you bought!
