Most people are going to say that LT's kill your bottom end yadda yadda yadda but dyno's have proven different time and time again. Someone posted up an article from MM & FF from a while back with a stock 5.0 with mac lt's and mac shorties. The LT's made more power down low and up top. The only time the shorties made more power was between like 3,200-3,700. If someone has this article, please post it up.

The only downside that I really see to using longtubes is that they are not legal and they can tend to hang pretty low and cause scrapping going over speed bumps, etc.

The more power the engine has the longer the tubes should be IMO. Use shorties for most bolt-ons and go with longtubes as you near race only applications.

teat have shown on a mild engine there is only a few hp difference...lt's are just a PITA and in no way would use them with an AOD
