That is the same kit I have...I like it

He most likeky didn't hurt your tranny. With all the clutch swaps I've done, I have never had trouble shifting afterward...I don't beleive that is considered normal. Adjustment is out of wack IMO

Check you fluid, maybe they didn't put more in, or they didn't use ATF. That could be a possibility

OMG! I can't take it. Your clutch is out of adjustment, if you have the factory pawl and quadrant there is trick to setting it the way you like . The book tells you to lift up on the pedal and you will hear a click, but I never liked the way it would self adjust so I learned this trick. You have to know what your feeling for and what to push but it can be done. Better yet, just go get an adjustable unit and be done with it.

Check your drive shaft for rubbing, check engine mounts and trans mount. Can't think of anything else.

The reason it's hard to get into gear is clutch misalingment. It's not disengaging all the way when you press the pedal, so you're having to fight it to get it in gear. It's possible that you have tranny issues, but not as likely.

I went w/ the Steeda quadrant kit and like it.
