Default ebay hood fits great! cant believe it

just got my 4" cowl hood from the ebay seller hoods4sale and it fits great. its not bolted on yet since the hood will be in the way when i put my motor and tranny in so why bother bolting it down now. just thought i share a couple pics.




they didnt cut the holes in the back of the cowl for me but thats nothing a roto zip cant fix in 30 seconds.


last but not least, a progress pic on the new motor

hoping to get my braded line for my sc oil return today so i can finally put on my new oil pan. its a canton 7 quart and it looks bad@$$

it had around 107K miles on it but the last 7k miles the motor was making over 400rwhp. if it had better rings in it, i have no doubts it would still be running fine. the block and all internals show no sign of wear. it was just 3 rings that went bad.

It looks like it fits pretty good but on the passenger side of the cow where it starts to raise it looks like its on a big slant and on the driver side where it raises at the top of the cowl it looks like its going straight up... is it just me or is that how it is?

since it's not a ford part they can't fit perfect. my CF hood does the same thing

well its not bolted down so its not aligned right

i think he just put it on to see if it matched the front nose (which most hoods dont..)

its just how it looks in the picture. both sides are the same.

PX429, nope, cant miss me now. wont have any problems hearing it once it is running again either. i think i saw you the other day in your stang as i was leaving the neighborhood. i was in my g/f car tho.
