Default questions about roller rockers..

On the crane 1.7 pedestal mount rockers I have even with them fully tightened the valve doesn't quite close all the way. I was wondering if anyone makes shim kits, to raise the deck heighth.

well you see the engine im putitng the heads on already had the crane roller rockers on it. Like march of last year I was super naive and fell for this jackass giving me supposively a "new engine" with gt40 heads on it. It ended up having the stock e7s on it, which I believe were just mine off my old engine but it had crane 1.7s on it with the cobra cam. So I didn't buy the rockers myself therefore I didn't get shims with them lol.

i already ordered a shim kit from jegs, pushrods is a lot more money so might as well go the cheaper route.

the thing about the shims is they only allow so much shim and its not much. i had to go shorter pushrods . you can also have a machine shop shave the pedestal seat. look in my gallery under my profile pic and youll see the setup im running with the valve covers off.
