first off kill the caps
second u def wanna go with afr over edelbrock, they are just a better head, as far as intake i would try and suggest a edelbrock victor jr. manifold or a holley, they are prob the best out there as far as intake goes

well i am kinda on a budget a shop around here said they would bore 30 over tank it and install cam bearings for 200 bucks then i was going to buy one of those rebuild kits from summit with the forged pistons, and throw on aftermarket heads/intake/cam with all the other bolt-ons. heads ,cam, intake?

if you dont wanna do summit get the ford one from JCWhitney
and uh its 125$ here for flux, hone and bore which is really what you should do to make sure its in condition to rebuild.

Northern auto parts is where I got my rebuild kit from and you can upgrade every part of it individually. Like I went with hastings molly rings, clevite bearings, high volume oil pump, etc. I am real happy with their kit. I love my holley intake also.
