hello everyone i have a 302 that has been cover outside and somehow some water has gotten in it and the cylinder walls have surface rust on them. I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to getting this off? thanks

machine shop bub. never store a motor outdoors in the winter. even covered. moisture in the air is worse than puddles.

I think this is called honing the cyclinder walls, correct me if im wrong please

i've heard of people using steel wool as well..but you should really hone them.

Yes you will need a hone. Try some WD-40 it will help but you need to get that rust off or it will pit the cyl. walls.
