exhaust preference
going to be installing a full header back exhaust on my 92 GT. Should I go LT's or shorties, offroad h or prochamber, american thunders or something else. I don't care about sound or emmissions.. just the toughest sound I can get. Any help is appreciated.

RE: exhaust preference
stock headers, o/r h pipe, super 40 flows... i like the way it sounds, quiet when i want it to be, but gets loud enough to turn heads when i want to...

RE: exhaust preference
People are going about this the wrong way...What mods do you have?
Long tubes will give you the best performance gains, but will give you less ground clearance. The stock headers are a bottleneck, so upgrading to at least BBK or FRPP shorties will give you more power. As for the rest, I just went w/ the Prochamber (haven't installed it yet, too cold...[]), but any off road or Hi flow catted pipe will give you big gains.
My $.02= Shorty headers, Prochamber, Magnaflow cat back (don't know your mods, though....)

First things first...
1- Find out what the needs of your motor are. How many hp? What does it need to efficiently breathe?
2- Find out what the specs of the brands your interested in? 50 state legal, emissions, etc.
3-Find out what local state law permits, will you be able to pass inspection (visual or sniff)?
4-Whats your budget?
5- Be unique, don't copy another setup, post your motor setup in your sig, along with your planned mods(realistic plans) and we can be more helpful.
Personally I am a big fan of BBK, MagnaFlow, andBassani [8D]
