Hey everyone I have a 95 gts that I am going to do heads and cam on. Can you look at my list and tell mewhat else I may need and/or what should be changedin order to have the engine run well and have the ability to tune it correctly. Here is the list.
-low mileage stock 302 bottom end
-trick flow track heat u/l intake manifold
-75mmtb and egr plate
-trick flow tw 185 track heatheads
-pro-m mafand 30lb injectors kit from AFM
-u/d pullies
-bbk adj fpr
-msd coil
-msd wires
-custom ed curtis cam
-walbro 255lph fuel pump
-mac headers , o/r h-pipe, cat-back
-bbk cai
I am eventually going to go with a forged dss 331 shortblock. That is why the heads, intake mani and injectorsand tb are going to be so large, but i want to get the setup running on a 302 first.It is not a daily driver but a weekend track car.Any input would be appreciated. Thank you - Colin

dont go with dss.

you'll want to do hardened pushrods with the new heads/cam, and eventually u should get roller rockers as well. Might not hurt to get a highflow water pump, and if you're pulling the engine might wanna do a new oil pump as well.

seems like a new cam with roller lifters is a gray area, i have gotten both answers on whether or not i should replace the lifters when installing a new cam. Anyone with personal experience on this?
