Ok, this isnt about my stang, but my other ford. As some know, the weather in south texas is extremely bad right now. When i tried to go to the store today my windshield was completely iced over. I pryed most of the ice off, but i think the passenger wiper was iced into place. Anyway, now when i hit the wipers the drivers side is the only one that works. The passeger one doesnt even move. Any of you northerners have problems like this? We RARELY get ice around here so i have no idea how to treat it. Could the linkage somehow messed up?

on some cars the linkage is kind of a "ball & socket" style connection and if the wiper motor put enough tension on it, it could have popped off. if the one side is working fine and the other doesn't move at all i would check the linkage. see if you can move the wiper by hand freely. if so i would say it cam unhooked.

Yes i can move it freely, i guess i would have to take the cowl off to check the linkage huh?

U might have stripped the teeth in thearm.

Anyone ever had to replace these things? How hard are they? The vehicle is a 2001 f 150 if that helps
