98 Mountaineer VS 95 Cobra

I know where a totalled 1998 Mountaineer sits and I can get the entire motor (Which has no problems) for 200. What parts on this motor would be better that my Cobra(Heads, Intake,Cam etc.)? It is a 5.0

im pretty sure the cam on the mount. isnt desierable ( diff. specs and such) dont know to much about the others.

Yea, AdderMK can tell ya for sure, but I believe the Cobra is better as is, I know the Explorer/Mountaineer Cam is more for torque and has poor top end, as far as heads and intake specs not sure the specific numbers... good luck

Like they said, you'd have nothing to gain for your cobra. BUT, you could make more than $200 selling the shortblock, P heads, and intake seperately.

I'd be interested in the heads for the right price! PM me if you decide to go that route.
