^^ +1 It dosent matter what size motor your have. Stroker or non stroker. You can build any motor to go the speed you want it to go.

I would just shoot for a 11 sec 347 NA than... and spray it when you want to and you can have a 10 sec car on spray. But I would run something different than those dinky TW's on a 347

The thing is though, if you builda NICE 347 stroker you wont need nitrous. You will max out the block NA. You will have to change your setup though and Im not sure if you plan on doing that or not.

ORIGINAL: xtremestang94gt

i going to be putting a new block in my car if any one has a perferred size what is it and please list strong and weak points of them
by the way you worded your sentence it sounds like you dont know that a 306, 331, 347 all use a 302 block just with different crank, rods and pistons. But since you said you are getting a new block (or new to you, but used) I would suggest you get a 351 windsor block and now you have the choice of a bigger stroke, then I would suggest you go with a 408 stoker. With this combo you have a stronger and more powerful engine, and it doesnt cost much morethanpeople think and its a simple bolt in affair.

Do you recommend any 347 rotating assembly that would be good with nitrous
