Default need to remove header bolts

im not having much faith in the usual "soak them in PB" methods.

im lookin to do this tonight or tomorrow so any quick responses will help greatly, thankyou.

i heard from a friend that i should run the car before removing them because the heads will be hot.

Mine came free easily and the job was simple. I don't predict you having any problems taking the headers off.

You may have to heat them

You shouldn't have to use PB blaster or anything on them. I also wouldn't advise running the car right before you decide to remove the bolts, that's an easy way of burning your hands and those headers get ****in hot. Just use a wrench and some elbow grease and they should come right out.

heat them and spray a little wd-40, then wait about 10 minutes so not to burn yourself and they should come off just fine.

wd-40 isnt really a penetrant... its more of an oil coating to prevent rusting...

which is why its "Water Displacement - Formula 40"

true, but for some reason it always came through for me with stubborn bolts. i always used the same method and it always worked so far... heat the bolt up with the torch for about a minute, spray some wd-40, let it cool off, heat it up again for about 20 seconds and it comes right... i think the heat helps it penetrate alot, you can see it kinda seep in.
