Default dynamat hoodliner

Has anyone ever put the Dynamat Hoodliner ontheir hood before. im worried that it will not adhere well to the surface of my fiberglass hood. any one have any suggestions?

its already painted but it didnt cover up the fiber particles its some what smooth i guess but you can still see the texture of the hairs a buddy of mine gave me to ideas......some sort of fiberglass filler then sand to make a flat surface or just take some sand paper and try to gently sand it down to get it as smooth as possible......do you know if anyone makes a high temp spray glue?

i worried though its a working cowl and under the hood is not to smooth so im just worried that it after it sticks that a lil later down the road it will fall or start to look crappy

It will not fall. It's basically tar. It's extremely hard to get off.

the hoodliner seems like more of a sticker also how will it add lbs its just foam? i believe a nitrous bottle, subs, other stuff will affect it greater than a 3'x4' or so piece of sticky foam
