Hey everyone my 88LX has had some trouble starting this winter. Below about -5 outside it won't fire up. It turns over fine and runs great when its a little warmer even when its 0 out. Is it worth buying a new battery or should i just give my old one a good charge? If so is there any particular type of battery?

i use a optima red top , its alittle higher in price but i have no worries with it . one time i left my interior light on all night and the next day it fired right up.
