RE: Decisions????
Or you could just run divorced duals with flows. If you get the 40 series (2chamber), they are freakin LOUD! And yeah the cat pipe will quiet down alot after 3k. You will notice that when you switch to the X, H or divorced duals without cats youll lose some low end torque. But youll make up for it in the top end.

RE: Decisions????
I have shorty headers...and 40s with an H Pipe...no cats and it was friggin loud...so loud I could not even hear my Harley running when the car was running..and My Harley has an aftermarket exhaust...
I had to put Cats on mine for emission reasons and that made it more manageable,,,but depends what you like...

RE: Decisions????
screw the H or X pipe. I have straight pipe from the gutted converter , back to a Flowmaster on each side (DIVORCED DUALS)
Bottom from idle 800rpm to like 1400 rpm torque lost.
but 1700-redline, [8D] dam . the tone is deep and raspy, just perfect. doesnt sound like junk.
x-pipe make more of a raspy tone, the h=pipe more deeper mellow, neither makes a a muscle car tone like I have, not garbage sounding either

Divorced duals are really freakin loud, if you want to go that way. I've heard that running dumps instead of tailpipes increases volume too.
