Yeah its like the exact opposite, but doesnt the car mainly use front braking to stop the car? I cant get the brakes to work AT ALL, I had been slowing down with my gears and E-Brake and had to blow like 2 stoplights since it has happened, its dangerous and I just want to get this POS fixed.
Well, sounds like you're kinda clueless. That being said, you should really let a pro work on it so you don't kill yourself or someone else.
umm yeah definatly not, i just dont want to dick with it. I know quite a bit about brakes, but this is baffling and I just dont want to dick around with everything on it. There is fluid, it doesnt leak, the brakes are all fine, but that **** doesnt work, so I assumed Master cyclinder, but someone else mentioned brake booster, so I said oh what the hell why not I might as well its right there. I'm not going to pay some douchebag to charge me to look at it and then spend WAY to much money on fixing it when I can certainly do it myself, I was just looking for some feedback as to whats wrong, not being told to take it somewhere...

If it was hard to push down that is a sign of the master cylinder going, i'd put my money on that since you siad it got harder and harder to push till it had nothing at all. They are cheap, i'd go ahead and do that first....

is there fliud in the master cylinder? take the cap off and push the pedal down with it running , can you see a stream? bubbles? what have you tried? jack the front tire off the ground , give it a spin. do you feal any restriction ? does it keep going and going ? you should have some kind of drag from the calipers . o-yeah dont call your stang a pos, they dont like it.
I know but this thing really is a POS, everytime I take it somewhere, somthing else goes wrong, and i understand that its 24 years old, but the only things left to brake are the really expensive things, im sick of pouring money into this thing, I've been neglecting my baby....

Well, if you are so capable, you should have no problem diagnosing it. If you don't want to dick w/ it, how will you fix it? Makes no sense.

OK start w/ exactly what you have checked so far. Does the brake light on the dash come on when the pedal hits to the floor?

No brake light comes on. I checked the rotors, pads, calipers, fluid level and all brake lines for leaks.

OK, have you checked the wheel cylinders though? Pulled the drums to have a look.

Would that cause the brakes to fail completely?
