4 to 8 Cyl. conversion
Hey, Ive got a new project on my hands. What exactly is needed when converting a 4 or 6 cyl. fox body to 8? I have the motor already, and Im going carbed . Does the wiring harness need to be spliced for the alternator or anything? Anything else need to be done?
Thanks

RE: 4 to 8 Cyl. conversion
Hey, this might not be too much help, but i just put a carbed 306 in my '83. I've NEVER done anything this big on a car before, but with some help from my friends, and a couple calls to the local mechanic its running and almost ready for te road.... Just take your time, ask questions, and research your options. this site was a good one for me www.jason.fletcher.net/tech/v8/v8.htm..Doing a carbed motor isn't too hard, mine was easy because it was a V6 2bbl beforesoall i had to do wasplug it in
