Default Bought some new O2 sensors...

ok i bought brand new bosch O2 sensors and installed them. i didnt see a big gas consumption decline. this kinda pisses me off because i think im actually getting worse gas mileage than before. what the hell is going on?

yea but i bought new ones anyway, whats it matter, the new ones should do at least or more what the old ones did.... ugghh

did you clear the KAM in the ECU by disconecting the negative battery cable for at least 10 minutes so the ECU would learn that a change had been made? and don't judge the change by just one or two tanks of gas either, you need to give it more time.

just out of curiosity, did you use that special socket to get the o2's out or did you use a open ended wrench?

btw jer i used a pipe wrench to get the o2 sensors out, they were old and rusty.

from his site it looks like he used a monkey wrench........... next time just get a tourch and burn the hell out of the metal, than it will break lose, with some penatrating oil too
