K & N filters suck, they only have 90 % filtration which is horrible. Mobile 1 has 98 %, motorcraft filters are good too, they are made by wix, i believe they are also 98 % filtration. The purolater pure on is also good, it has 98 % filtration.

I've always used Motorcraft oil filters. so far I've had no problems with them. I ve ran them on my 87GT, 04GT,and my 87LX.plus thats what they came with from the factory so they can't b 2 bad of a oil filter.

What good does a oil cooler do? My car has one and results in me using a smaller filter than stock.

I think motor craft filters are made by purolator. The motor craft filters at walmart now are actually made by fram now and are really crappy. Just be sure to get a regular motor craft filter from anywhere but walmart.
