there is a big difference between the two edlebrock sucks its a nice looking quadrajet holley will produce a lot more power and is a lot easier to tune edlebrock just looks nice but they suck go with a holley that what was made to work on the 5.0 motors the foxes that came from the factory carb had holley's get a 600 cfm with vacuum secondaries very good carb thats what i have on mine amazing

its actually a new company that makes Edelbrock knockoffs, kinda like professional products. they also make really good blinker fluid(they copied royal purple)

holley is better for power but theres no way its easier to tune in then an edelbrock. depends on how often and what temperatures you drive it in. I wouldnt want a holley on a cold morning but i wouldnt want an edelbrock at the track.

+1. Edelbrocks are definitly WAY easier to tune than a Holley. Ive had both, theyre both good IMO. As long as the carb is matched to your selection properly and you dont drown the motor you should be allright. If you mainly do street driving youll definitly want vacuum secondaries. If you mainly race it, youll want a double pumper. IMO, whether you go with Holley or Edelbrock, its all a matter of preferance, theyre both good. BTW, I didnt notice any difference between my Holley and my Edelbrock, performance wise anyway.

My friend had a holley then replaced it with a Edelbrocks and it sucked and put the holley back on and it ran a lot better

Edelbrocks are easier to tune, but I have had both and my holley was more reliable. Given a choice I would go with the holley, vac. secondaries a must for the street and buy new don't go with one from a rebuild shop.
