Default Best drag springs and control arms?

I've decided to see how far I can make my car go with the stock motor. Now that I have my 3.73s I'm going to be doing some suspension work to see how far I can go with it.

As for drag radials I think I'm going to go with Nitto 555Rs, but anything past that I don't know.

Anyone have suggestions for springs, control arms and subframe connectors?

maximum motorsports full length subframes, lakewood upper/lowers w/ lakewood 70/30 shocks, and 50/50 struts.

New question: What's the biggest tire that will fit safely on a pony rim?

there a more streetable shock, i'm assuming this is a summer ride that sees track use a few times a season, not an exclusive track car, just my opinion a lil smoother ride comfort for cruising but track worthy

For drag springs I'd go with eibach. I had morosos on my 86 but the rears can't be cut and they sit higher then stock. The controls arms are really going to vary, for drag racing solid lower, adjustable uppers with swivel ends. But that will be noise and rip up your torque boxes. A set of control arms withpolyurathane bushings will be good for the street strip setup. The cheap granetili ones are just as good as bbks, lakewoods, etc.

For subframes it depends a standard length subframe will strenthen your chassis up pretty good but a full lenght will make it even stonger. It really depends on what you want to do. That blue oval industries kit would be great for your car brady and wouldn't make you break the bank.

With drag radials I would only use mickey thompsons, they have proven themselves to be the best at the track. Nittos don't hook worth crap at all and bfgs are a little better but not much.

255/60/16 is about the biggest.

Also um if you look at shocks strut go with adjustables. You'll be glad you did.
