i never down shift lower then 2nd. just throw it in neutral. why would you need to down shift it to 1st , unless your coming out of turn 5 at mid-ohio

yeah now that i think about it i put mine into 2nd then 1st also. im running mobil-1 fully synth. and just rebuilt with a world class kit, and mines alittle moody sometimes. drain and refill with mobil-1 and you should get more life out of it . wont hurt nothin.you can read alot from the fluid to.
