code 67 is a problem with your air conditioning... your compressor has more than likely gone bad
Personally I get a kick out of reading these threads, makes me laugh. Ilaugh atthe kind of help that people are willing to offer. Your "web diagnostics" never add up. If you are not sure what you are talking about then why post? People that come to this site are looking for good advice to help them save money. So far I see a lot of people hurling parts at their vehicle and not fixing anything based on information provided. In fact when you post incorrect/inadequate information you are not only making yourself look bad but you aretaking credibility away from this website and others that use this site as well. Stop saying that "since you have this code, this is probably bad", instead offer description of operation and possible causes of concern. I know that this will help others out more than some of the responses I have seen.

This is my .02, take it or leave it. I guess it would help me out more if I didn't post anything at all since I will probably see some of the vehicles that have had multiple parts replaced come into where I work with the same concern still present. I just don't like seeing upset customers, this is good for no one.

All you need to do to eliminate the compressor as a problem is unplug it... its not THAT difficult

How sure are you that the PCM doesn't have a trace voltage on the compressor clutch control circuit? If it does (like it does on the fuel pump circuit), a fault will be noted with the circuit open. It knows that if that circuit is complete, all the voltage will drop along the internal resistor. If you unplug it, the voltage wont drop and it could ID a fault with it unplugged.

I cant really argue with him, I hate when people just throw parts at cars... But like I said, if you unplug the unit, it should turn off and eliminate the code. which would prove that there is a fault internally, or from one of its driving components. Last time I checked, there was only 1 relay that ran it.

I am never one to just say "well, this is what its doing, so toss this in!" I like to test things and PROVE that they are bad.

but realistically... who uses a/c in a mustang?
