I never said a 5.0 is better, I said I prefer it over the 4.6. I also saidthat plastic intake is a POS. My 93 regal has one and is broke and coolant went everywhere. Same thing as mentioned in above post with 99 mustang GT.

onyx i am getting it tuned tuesday, they may have to adjust the roller rockers and a couple other things so i should have numbers by this friday. In response to the others I never said 2005 gts are slow I know they are pretty fast I asked in the 2005 section what they ran in auto gts and one guy said he saw 2 run a 13.8 stock. So my friend with the tune and cai must be at least that im guessing faster.

s197's are also a bit lighter becasue of teh aluminum engine and hood, so you definatley got a good setup on your car, cant wait to see numbers

If you drive a stick with your mods you should probably be about 275 to 290 rwhp pretty close to the 300 mark. Do not uderestimate the new GT's, they are pretty quick but they can be made to go fast with a couple of mods and a tune. Good luck and all you need to do is supercharge your 5.0
Congrats and good luck.

hey ncie work man good job props for sureand inow know im not alone on thinkin ford has failed us with the 4.6... just my .02 but when i think of muscle cars i think of sharp shapes, lots of power, and a rough *** ride. Took a ride in a new onebefore i bought my fox, andwith all the problems my fox has(project in the making) id take it overa new edge anyday... jst built right... thats y the foxes were around so long... musta been doingsomething right... i like the sn95's but the computer was a turn off sorry guys but back to the topic at hand no replacement for displacement period gotta love the 5.0

the modular motor is one of the best motors i have ever seen. I tore one apart in school and i can say i was impressed. Very good motors, just because its only a 281 dont mean **** though. They are quick, 13.5's stock at about 3600 lbs. They have variable cam timing as well giving them a very flat torque curve. with lots of top end power. Do your homework homo 'fore you knock the mod motors. I love the aftermarket for the 5.0, when the aftermarket for the mods catches up ill switch to an s197, probably the sickest gt ever. the fox doesn't feel like you're driving a muscle car, it feels like an escort with a v8 in it.

Hey everybody look at me I'm a homo... wtf man... not only are you childish your blind... "inow know im not alone on thinkin ford has failed us with the 4.6... just my .02" means in my opinion.... my thoughts... i can have these i beleive... and a fox may not be a muscle car but it was before mustangs lost the raw look... and for as much as u prolly spent for your 94 you could have a stunnin fox... and yes maybe when the the aftermarket catches up the sun will shine on the 4.6 and angels will sing and everyhtign will be lovely but I've also heard rumors of the underworld freezing so i'm not personaly gonna hold my breath... as said before it took 10 years for the aftermarket intake...

Well...I guess when your car can beat the plastic intake cars (S197, Z06, SS camaros, TA's, Firebirds) then you can complain. Ford didn't let anyone down with the 4.6, maybe the first 2 years but I beat you cant beat a New Edge with a stick. Also, if you think your fox can beat a 4.6 cuz they "feel slower" you should check yourself and stop being a retard. Its called refinement. Something your car nor do you posses.
