Default Question Regarding Exhaust

I've been working at removing the stock exhaust. I removed the header bolts, removed the mufflers ect. All that is left is to get the headers/h-pipe off. I have 2 bolts on each side that connect the header to the h-pipe. How did you guys reach these two bolts? Did you use a huge huge extension? Any help would be appriciated thanks guys.

Just use an air gun with a huge extension, or if you dont have a air gun just a big socket driver with a huge extension lol

seriously, if it is stock stuff, it has probably never been taken off the car, and those 4 bolts get very rusty... if you don't have an impact wrnech, I suggest trying to kill some of the rust first... Then get down with a 2 foot breaker bar and a long *** extension... these bolts are just about my least favorite on the entire car!!! lol I have spent 3-4 hours several times over these damned biolts, and usually one of them ends up breaking anyway... another trick is you can try heating the exhaust tubes first...

ok what i did... impact gun+long *** extention+ swivel(or w.e. u wanna call it). and some pb blaster... and good old heat(be very careful w. the pb and the heat... shyts flameable we found that out). we would reverse them... nothing, forward a little, reverse, forward, reverse, forward, etc untill it kept commin off. sometimes w. old bolts if you drive them on w. the impact a little bit tighter then they are itll break the rust loose then u can take them off. it took a little effort, but they all came off.
