Default 1993 Mustang

Hi guys I was now thinking of buying another stang the one I am looking at now is a 1993 coupe (trunk) How are these cars compared tto the hatch. It is a 5.0 LX and he wants 3000 for it with 130000 miles on it does that sound like a decent deal or what should I offer for it. Also the car has original paint on it. Not show quality but decent
Thanks
Hunter

in my opinion and from all the guys i know who race them, they seem to hook alot better than a hatch and you dont have to worry about rust around the hatch. i own a hatch and it took alot to get it to hook like i wanted it to but she screams out of the hole now. you can see it in action by clicking on the video in my sig below.

I've had a hatch and now have a coupe.

Coupe have a slight edge in cool factor if that means anything to you. Means nothing to me.
They are definately more desirable for drag cars and they are about 100lbs lighters.

For daily driving and actually using like a normal car. Hatch without a doubt.
The space inside a coupe is none. Aside from the V8 it's a compact car.

Tough to say without seeing any pics, aside from that the 93' being the last year of the fox body $3000 seems to be a pretty good deal. The coupesbring alot more attention compared to the hatches, they also bring alot more money at least where I'm from. Maybe I'm a little bias...........!

Well i went and test drove the 93 tonight and wow it runs very good. the olny thing I see wrong with the car is the paint is fading in places and it needs new back tires. The coupe is allitle cramped inside. I offered him 3000 for it and picking up tommorow. Also is the coupe rare I don't see alot here in Pa. and what does paint jobs run.
Thanks Hunter

I can only speak regarding where I'm from, but yes the coupes are rare. I think more importantly any 5.0 in good to prisitne shape is a good and rare find. Most are wrecked or beat to a near wreck. As far as paint you can spend as little as a grand or twenty grand, depends how deep your pockets are.
