Advice needed: got some extra $$$
I've got a little extra spending money and I'm wondering which route I should go. here's what I have been thinknig about.
Firstly, I think I want a tuner. I've been looking at the TwEECer. It will be great to tune the cart as I go along, and I at least know that I need to alter my shift points if nothing else. I just can't decide whether I should go with the base model for $380 or the RT model for $525. Not sure if there are enough benefits to buying the RT.
Also, In addition to the TwEECer, I was thinknig about getting a wideband setup. But I don't know if I should just get a wideband O2 sensor or if I should spend the $350 and get the LM1 kit.
I am thinknig that if I get the handheld tuner, then getting the LM1 kit is redundant and a waste of time. Can I get away with simply buying a Bosch wideband O2 sensor and the TwEECer? Will I need an A/F gauge with the sensor if I get a tuner or can I just use the tuner to read the sensor when it's hooked up?
Also, if I do get just the O2 sensor and the TwEECer, it would have to be the RT model correct?
Basically, I just need advice on which combo to get. I want a wideband setup and I want a tuner.

I think I found the combo I want. I am looking at getting the Tweecer RT ($525) along with this wideband controller. ( $195) I just need to make sure that the controller is compatible with the Tweecer so that I can monitor the A/F ratio.
According to the Tweecer website, those units should be compatible, but it doesn't say anything about that specific model. But if I can get everything I need for $720, I suppose I can't complain.

I've heard great things about the Anderson PMS, too, although it's a little more expensive. Some have said it's easier to work with......

Not only did I get it tuned right away, it was installed while parked in the garage with the dyno. Had to cheat a little though andborrow a wideband to get it done right. That's why I want to get my own tuner and wideband controller. I need to adjust fuel, admust timing, adjust shift points, etc. I'd much rather spend a few hours sitting in the car on the dyno and using my own equipment to program and save tunes.
Ahh, the advantages of having a friend with a dyno in his garage
