Default Cant get quadrant back in

I just got my steeda clutch cable kit, came with double hook aluminum quadrant, cable, and firewall adjuster. I had to use a hanger to get the clips off the shafts for the quadrant and the plastic pos and a spring fell. Now I am trying to put the new one in and i have 2 questions. 1) do I use that spring that came off the stock quad? the instructions dont specify. and 2) How do you get those clips back in? Its giving me a hard time.

No you don't use the spring, but be sure to install the spacer(s) provided. I used a small pair of long needle-nose pliars to get the clips back in. There is a walkthrough in the Tech Articles section if you haven't already glanced at it.
