Default clutch cable PROBLEM

Ok so i was driving and my clutch cable snapped..... 1 piece of it was on my floor mat.... this happend on a highway in 4th gear and had to stop at a light behind an 18 wheeler..... i had to rev it up and put it into first when it was in the car would move with only the clutch down to the floor not pressing te gas pedal at all..... brand new clutch 500-600 miles on it......

just get yourself a new cable youll be fine what highway were you on by the way i know you live in jersey

sounds very co-incidental. r you sure you didn't re-install the cable wrong, or bind it up in a crazy angle?

it literally snapped..... and on route 1 north in edison ( middlesex county )

I mean't to ask if it possible to put in a new clutch cable by just having the car jacked up.....

yeah i was gunna say just drive it up on ramps you can do it its not hard at all this would also be a good time to just buy the steeda kit that comes wtih the new cable firewall adjuster and quadrant

Yeah the whole kit just took about an hour with the car on ramps.
