but with a good 3grand or so drop on slicks, do you still think I'll bog at all? My friend seems to think you guys are just guessing and still thinks I might bog bad enough to stall it, lol.

i launch at 2000rpm when i am at the strip and that is on street tires.. and i get a little bit of a bog but barley any.. so i say if you bog at 3k.. then bump it up to 3250.. then 3500.. every car is kinda different.. it depends alot on how much traction the track you are at has too and the tempature of the track surface.. how good you heated up the tires.. what tire pressure you are running. there are alot of determining factors on launching a car.

I definately won't have money for heads for quite some time, so I'm stuck with stockers for now. Yea I figured I'll just rev it up good and hope for the best. With the mods I have and slicks and a good launch what time do you think I could run in the 1/4?

oh yea I know, they're definately the bottleneck. How much does it cost to get stock heads ported or is it not even worth it?
