oh yea I know, they're definately the bottleneck. How much does it cost to get stock heads ported or is it not even worth it?

shouldnt be to expensive, and youd be surprised to how much it would help. thats what i was running (ported e7's)when i ran 7.4@95 1/8 Ive not been back to the track since i bought the gt40 heads.

my friend thinks I'm gonna destroy my stock clutch first night out racin too, whatcha think? How much is a good clutch?

how much does this friend of yours work on stangs? drag race? im tellin you ive had a stock clutch, t-5 and been drag racing quite a bit, with the mods you have done to your car youll be fine.

sweet. Thanks for all your help guys.I guess now it's just time to save up for some slicks for hte track and to look into some porting. Will 235/60-15s be decent slicks? Or can I fit 245s on 15x7? What size diameter would the 235/60 be?

yeah, the 235/60/15's will be good for slicks if you are getting the et streets. you dont have much more power then stock.. maybe an extra 30hp or so over stock at the wheels so you should be fine.
