whats all done to you car? I ran full slicks last week and spun them off the line and shifting gears. I was also running very high air pressure though(i didnt know any better) I think with enough power and rpm's you could get a nice launch.

running full slicks youll be fine as far as breaking stuff, but you may very well bog down a lil bit, pros outweigh the cons of that though... everytime I run at the track I run mickey E/Ts at about 9lbs, at first I bogged down but after launching with a 125 shot from the line the bogging stopped.

ic, well juicin ain't an option for me. so if I were to run slicks, what would I launch at? how bad do you think it would bog? Would the increased traction outway the bogging, or would it be best to have somethin with a lil less traction?

with what you got done to youre car i wouldnt worry about braking anything.. if you are run drag radials.. still sticky but not quite as much traction as a full slick. and with that i would say heat them up good and launch at least at 3000rpm.

I get a good launch at 3500, for me the traction outweighed the bogging by a long shot. you shouldnt notice alot of bog. what kind of heads are you running? E7's? ported?
