Default 302 or 351w

I dont know what would be a better choice. Either way, i'm starting from nothing, my hp goals are at or beyond the stock 302 blocks limit, from what i've heard. would i be better off building a 302 or a 351w?? i would think i could build a fairly mild 351 and see the same power as a more extreme 302? and as far as the block, whats the advantages of aluminum or cast iron?

If you want to build power go with the bigger block.

+1 The 351W block is usually good for around 650hp.

I'd go 351 if you're starting from scratch anyway. More power potential and it will handle more....

Power is Money, money is power. Also if you push the 302 to the extreme to get what you want it will cost more cause you will have to get another one. Just an idea

If you've got a lot of time and money, get the 351C
