Just curious, but could it just be the car jack or lug wrench flopping around in the spare wheel well? That will make a pretty noticeable clunk.
Im pretty sure that stuff is tight (jack is screwed down and the wrench is jammed in there) and I dont think that would make the car buck like it does.

wow ok you REALLY need to re-do the tightening of the control arms. they must be loaded when you tighten.

Damn- I didnt know that.

Theyre a bitch to do on the ground so thats why I did them on a lift. I had to pull the exhaust off to get them in place and I couldnt get the exhaust off on the ground.

Hopefully Ill get a chance to fix them soon then. I might just have somebody weld in torque box reinforcements anyway though.

your gonna destroy the bushings very quickly. do it soon. the bushings are made to absorb shock in and out, and twist a tiny tiny bit. tightening them while the axle is hanging, and then lowering the car, twists the bushing way beyond what it was ever meant to do.

lol i try.. its tru tho... swaped a tranny in the damn snow last sunday... out in a gravel driveway no less, lol... cant be that cold man... throw on some good old carhart coveralls, and jacket, and go to town, lol
