Default leaking diff

hey all,I've noticed that there's a few spots and drips coming from the mid rear of the car, now I am NOTa mechanic, and I'm not 100% sure but I was told it looked like the differential seal was leaking. I'm going to take it in to get it fixed on the weekend, but I had another question. Since it can also leak by the wheels (and I don't see it doing that) is it at all possible that it could be causing my rear wheel on the left side to squeak? Keep in mind I'm not much good with tools, but attempting to learn a little

Default RE: leaking diff

Its either leaking at the front pinion seal or the diff cover gasket. If it was leaking out of an axle seal it would more then likely make the squeek go away.
