Default Head bolt broke off and leaking antifreeze

I just discovered i have a head bolt head that has broke off flush with the head. Its leaking antifreeze from around the bolt. Do you think if i remove broken bolt and replace it and put some teflon tape on threads it will seal up? I think the bolt goes into a water jacket thats why its seaping. On the driver side. Thanks for any feedback

Leaking or not I'd still replace that bolt. You may have a leaky head gasket because of that. How long has it been broken / leaking?

Is it one of the bolts that are near the exhaust manifolds or one of the bolts that are near the rockers?

if it is actually a head bolt thats broken... you better change that head gasket, because it will never seal properly again

so what are you really asking? I can tell you how to do a temp fix without removing head but, if you want to keep car replacing it should be done

Not sure how long it has been broke. Its by the exhaust manifold. I know its not a permenant fix but would it stop the leak for a little bit. Its not a everyday driver. Just wanna stop problem for the moment till i can order some x303 heads

It juststarted leaking. Its not spraying but it is seaping. Curious if i can put another head bolt in it with some teflon on the bolt to hold it together for a little while. Thanks

Screw it. I'm building a top end for this thing. Heads, intake, Cam, etc........... Aint no sense in tryin to patch something together for a bit. Just spend the money!!! I'll post new hop-ups when finished and the end result.
