Default BLOWN HEAD GASKET!

So the a guy that owns a machine shop , that builds motor told me to drive my new motor like im gonna drive to get the rings and seals to seat properly. So i have about 30 miles on my gt-40 crate motor and i droped it in to second and took it to about 5500 rpm and i blew my freakin head gasket and my brand new motor.. Talk about a downer.

If it was a newcrate engineand he blew both the head gasket AND the engine itself, then I am going to guess he was running REAL lean and ran into some bad *** detonation. Damn that sucks.

Or he blew the head gasket and got all that nice milky oil in there and spun some bearings. How long did you drive it when you knew the gasket went?
