Instead of starting a new thread I will just ask here. Do you think it would be a good idea to have my pan tapped for a charger and than plugged up until I get one? Im not sure if I feel comfortable tapping my own pan and I would like not to have it tapped and than tow the car home and than finish the charger install. Do you guys think thats a bad idea? I DEFINETLY plan on a charger but dont know when I will be able to come up with the cash...

I'd think it would be fine as long as it's plugged. It's not like there is a lot of pressure inside the oil pan.
