Iron Eagle,, all 4 bolt mains 2 3 and 4 are splayed,, didnt see the reason not to spend an extra 400$ or so on the better block, i tell yo uwhat look at what a nice 347 costs to build then look at a new dart block price thats not a bad investment on your 6000-12000$ engine ya know,, better than insurance on em

I have a 190 lph Walbro in the tank, and do you think I should piggy back the T-Rex off of that, or does that not make sense either? The engine is $5400 to build, and the last thing I want is for it to come apart. I'm a little late to go with a aftermarket block, since it's well on it's way to being assembled. For some reason I thought the early model block was a 4 colt main. I could be wrong though, as I have been many times in this post. I was thinking cast steel and forged steel with the cranks. Sorry about that. I was also thing about a DART block and not a SCAT. I'm acting like I'm drunk. They weren't goign to guarantee the engine with the stroker kit I initially bought, but say they will with the one they got me.

I'm also going to go with a conservative tune.

I initially just bought a 255 lph pump and was going to put that in and be done with it. The guy who is doing the installation of the engine recommended the t-rex. It sounds like I'm getting some bad advice.

:-(

My internals are similar, but it sounds like I should have splurged on the dart block. I guess time will tell.

Well, what I would do is just save up like 2K for a block just incase anything happens. So eventually, if something does than you have immediate $$ to replace the block.
