10.5's on a fox?

RE: 10.5's on a fox?
I was contemplating the same thing but I hadnt gotten to the measuring...good to know it will work.. Dude, that just looks f***king badass as does your car. I love the way the wheels fill the wheel wells. A couple of questions though. First are those 17's or 18's cuz they look like 18's. Second is your car lowered at all or are those the stock springs. Lastly, what are the full specs on your front and rear tires. I'd also like to see a link to a side view of your ride. Thanks for any info you can give me.

To help clearify for others.....
What springs are you using? In your signature it shows rear coil overs - did you run an OEM stylerear spring with this setup and what was the spring rate?
Are the fenders rolled?
Do you have any rubbing issues? with or without passengers?
What is the measured height to the underside of the rear fender from the ground?
Do you have a panhard rod?
Are they stock length Fox axles in a stock axle housing?
What rear brake setup is being used?
Any issues with the rear exhaust pipe? and what exhaust are you using?
And confirming the picture is of a315 size tire mounted on a 10.5 rim?
Thanks.

Thanks for the comments guys. It was a long process of trial and error when I first started trying to make this tire and wheel combination work on my stang (the rear mostly) but I was convinced I could make it work and I did. The front tires and wheels are 17x8 bullitswith 245/40s, this tire and wheel size worked out perfect for the front, there is no rubbing from lock the lock at all. The rear is what took the most time to figure out. Im running 315/35 Nitto DRs on 17x10.5 bullits that i bought from American Muscle. I had already installed the 5-lug rear conversion kit from Ford Racing, and Im still running brake drums in the back. I had to switch out the studs in the axels for longer ones for the use of a 1/2 spacer. The quad shocks will not fit either way so you can forget them. I have better aftermarket upper and lower control arms of course. Now one of the main issues I had was with the rear Granatelli coilover kit. I had a problem with the tire and wheels rubbing the coilover springs. I fixed this by switching to a coiloverspring with a 2 1/4 inch OD instead of the more popular 2 1/2 OD. But if your not running coilovers in the back then this wont become an issue. I really wanted to keep the coilovers so I did what i need to to keep them. The rear spring ratesare 225 and the fronts are 250. I dont have a panhard bar. I did trim the upper inner fender so it wouldnt cut into my Nittos. There really isnt any rubbing either, but they will rub if the ride height is to low. I have the 3inch catback jungle exhaust which I hand fit and welded to make sure it cleared perfectly. I will try to get some pics of my rear suspension and the clearences that I have. Hope I answered all your questions.

RE: 10.5's on a fox?
Thanx for the great info on your combination. The only thing I would like to know is what was previously mentioned and thatsyour ride height. Obviously, using the coil over set up allowsyou to adjust your ride height as needed. The question is,how does your current ride height compare to the ride height of a car with a stock suspension. Is it lower or higher and if so,by how much. Just curious as I planned on running Eibach lowering springs and have purchased a set but havent installed them. They say they will drop the car about 1.5" in front and 1" in back, would like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanx again for sharing this great info.
