Reliability of a 408 stroker.

Reliability of a 408 stroker.
Hey, Im considering having the 351 stroked out to a 408. Im gonna use aset AFR heads, and I have the 75mm Trickflow 351 intake. Id also like to use like a 75 or 100 shot of nitrous. Im not going to use a blower or anything at least for now. So heres my question.
The car wont be my daily driver, it will be taken to the strip a couple times a year, and it probably will get less then 5000 miles a year. Also the person who is building it has built engines for 35 years, and everyone swears by him that hes the best.So he knows his stuff.
So with that said, and the heads and nitrous, how reliable can I expect the engine to be? Also what year block would you suggest using. I know the 94+ has some good sides to it, but it was the weakest block of the 351's. So what do you guys think?

deffinety go with a roller block,the longevity of an engine is based on the buider and driver.if he checks all clearences and balences you should have a stout engine for a long time. use high quality fasteners and forged internals and that 100 shot will not hurt anything.youll be wanting that pro fogger 250shot in no time
if your builder blueprints the engine so to speak and the machinist has done his job,which should be checked by your builder it will live a long life

the guy that built my motor had a 418 with a 250 shot and was making a little bit over 1000rwhp and ran a 5.5x in a 1/8th so there is power to made with a 351. oh yeah that was also on a stock block.
